The deck crew arrives to pour out the concrete decking.  There are several options to get the look that you want for your pool. Stamped concrete with a brick or stone look, SprayDeck for the old KoolDeck look and flagstone or travertine tile being one of the more expensive choices.   Exposed aggregate is the most popular for it's long lasting qualities and non- skid texture. A 3/8" rainbow stone is seeded into the surface of the concrete. They then carefully wash the surface of the concrete to expose the rainbow gravel, creating a comfortable, non-skid surface that will last for years.
